I drew inspiration from my love of horror movies. My concept here is to evoke feelings of uneasiness and uncertainty. The approach I chose was to create a monstrous illusion by turning the moon into an eyeball and the trees into veins. Giving a creepy, dark and ambiguous look and feel to the logo.
